Southern Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
12 pieces of chicken
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
Mix flour with seasonings in a shallow dish.
Heat oil to 350°F in a large skillet or fryer.
Dredge chicken in seasoned flour and fry until golden brown, about 10–12 minutes per side.
